Only students with signed consent and registration forms can be treated. Parents are welcome to accompany their student for scheduled appointments at the health center.
Call (248) 623-8100 to make an appointment for a routine check-up or well-patient visit. (If your child is sick, he or she should stay home and you should see your primary care physician as you normally would).
For unscheduled acute care visits that are the result of the onset of symptoms during the school day, we will notify the parents if a student needs to be seen by a provider. The parent may then consent to having the child seen in the health center. In the event the student already has a pediatrician or family doctor, a report of their visit at the school will be sent to your doctor.
Of course, parents are always free to pick up a sick child at school and seek medical care anywhere they choose, if they are not interested in utilizing the school health center.
